Predicting the future in surgical oncology is optimistic and fascinating vision with considerable risk. The remarkable progress in the last few years in multiple fields including biological medicine, combined therapy, three – dimensional digital visualization in diagnosis, more precise staging procedures, guided oncological surgery, technical changes, telesurgery, improvement in quality of treatment, allows for safer and less mutilating surgery.
