Streszczenie
During first few months of HRT irregular bleeding and spotting occur in 50-60% of women. That´s why it is useful to provide TVS (transvaginal ultrasonography) before introducing hormones. TVS is useful to exclude endometrial abnormalities among women with abnormal bleeding and spotting. There are no proofs that TVS is useful for endometrial cancer screening in women without abnormal symptoms.
