This article outlines the main urogynecological problems in postmenopausal women such as urinary stress incontinence, vaginal atrophy and pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Authors shortly discuss pathophysiology of those diseases and also rationale for estrogen treatment. In POP chapter benefits of the POP-Q (quantification) system are discussed.
