Obesity has been associated in the literature with incerased risk of congenital malformations of fehes. The probable cause of the malformations are hyperglicemia, hyperinsulinemia, ivescular and genetic factors. Hyperinsulinemia during preimplent period has negative influence on proliteration of neuroectodermal neurous.
