Skin exposure to ultrafiolet radiation is responsible for different biological effects, including the inflammation, immunosuppresion and premature photoageing. UV can initiate skin photocarcinogenesis through induction of DNA damage. The effective sunscreens are very important to good protection against UVA/UVB radiation.
