Summary
The diagnostic process of a deaf person before cochlear implantation was performed in order to estimate the hearing organ structure and function as well as evaluate the benefit of cochlear implant for each patient. There are three important steps of diagnostic process: history, audiological and phoniatrics examination. The next stage is psychological qualification for cochlear implant, then radiological examination of temporal bone.
