Summary
There is a visible rising tendency in the number of occupational diseases in Poland. Among the occupational diseases, at the second place, shortly beneath the occupational hearing disorders there are occupational voice disorders with sustained voice effort. It mainly concerns teachers. The authors pointed out the factors that lead to voice disorders appearance and present the principles of prevention in people who use their voice for their occupation.
