Summary
The dramatic rise in the prevalence of allergic diseases is related not only to genetic factors and the so called degradation of human environment. One of the important causes is the appearance of allergens which, as yet, had mainly caused infections. These allergens are fungi, especially Candida and Trichophyton genera.
