Summary
The authors presented results of allergological investigation concerning 163 patients with allergic rhinitis and 72 patients with chronic pharyngitis. On the basis of clinical examinations, we found pharyngeal symptoms in over 50% patients with allergic rhinitis. The allergy in patients with chronic pharyngitis on the basis of allergic and immunological examinations was found only in 7% (airallergens). The importance of bacterial allergy to Staphyllococus aureus in both grops was very low.
