Summary
Isolated dislocation of the radial bone head is a very rare consequence of trauma, encountered mainly in children aged under 10. The paper presents the patomechanism, clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment, as well as complications of this lesion. The authors stress the importance of correct differentiation between traumatic and congenital dislocation, this latter needing no treatment. Two cases of traumatic, isolated radial head dislocation in children are presented and discussed.
