Summary
We investigate the 23 patients with early diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus in whom the presence and advance of atheromatic changes in dorsal feet arterises were estimated by ultrasoud examitation. In diabetic patients the thickness of the intima was statisticaly greater in comparison with control group, and positive corelated with HbA1c concentration. We suggeste that HbA1c concentration may be an essential indicator of group of diabetic patients with particular risk of the atheromatosis acceleration.
