The presence arterial hypertension in diabetics is a very important and frequent problem in everyday medical practice. Hypertension is developing in diabetes type I and II. The aim of hypertensive treatment is normalization of blood pressure and prevention of organ complications, especially nephropathy as the most frequent complication. Hypotensive drugs used most often in the treatment of hypertension in diabetics are inhibitors of angiotensin convertase.
