For those interested in this issue, I recommend reading an article on a case of a patient with G1 rectal adenocarcinoma treated locally using the TEM method. It is true that the paper presents only a single case despite the fact that the method has been known for several years; it should be noted, however, that the technique has been used only in isolated clinical centres in Poland so far. It is indeed great that our surgeon colleagues in the Poviat Hospital in Sochaczew use microsurgical endoscopic techniques and share their experience in this field by publishing their findings.
