The text analyzed various scientific publications relating to the following descriptors: borderline disorder, affect, emotion, emotional control, emotional awareness, emotional acceptance, social behavior, social exclusion, trust, loyalty. The main clinical features of patients with personality disorders (borderline) are irregularities in the mechanisms of emotional control and the defect in the course of social relations.
