Summary
In this paper we compared 3D and 2D endosonography in order to assess their usefulness in the diagnostic of anal diseases. We found high accuracy of 3D endosonography in classification of transsphincteric and intersphincteric fistulas, complex abscesses and in differentiation between T2 and T3 rectal tumors.
