Summary
After diagnosing hyperprolactinemia, a careful diagnostics should be conducted in order to treat a patient efficiently and causally. Together with basic and stimulating hormonal markings, a graphic treatment plays an important role, and even more so is the MRI of the pituitary gland which enables to diagnose organic cause of hyperprolactinemia. The basic method of the treatment is pharmacotherapy with dopaminergic agonists.This therapy effectively eliminates clinical symptoms, whereas selective long-efficacious preparations are not causing any side-effects.
