Summary
Introduction. The changes in a woman’s body are often the source of many concerns and may have a significant impact on sexual behavior resulting in the formation of disturbances.
Aim. The aim of the study was to know the difficulties that women face sexual sphere during pregnancy.
Material and methods. The study included 100 women who are in the third trimester of pregnancy or immediately after birth, living in the Łańcuta. Authors used a questionnaire combined with questions coming from the standardized questionnaire FSFI – Female Sexual Function Index.
Results. It was examined whether pregnancy alters the approach to sex partner. Considered the most common fears associated with the audited during sexual intercourse. We compared the test group and rated the extent to which leading gynecologist pregnant is interested in sexual problems of their patients.
Conclusions. Physicians pregnancy are not interested in erotic life of their patients. In more than half of the partners pregnancy has not changed its approach to sex. Older patients is more difficult to talk about the problems with sex. Intercourse during pregnancy causes a lot of anxiety in women.
