Odbudowa zębów mlecznych z wykorzystaniem standardowych koron protetycznych

Summary
Dental treatment in children is difficult, because young patient need patience, fast solutions and painless procedures. Development of dental materials allows making resistance restorations but also complicates procedures. For patients’ comfort and fast, easy procedure pediatric crowns were invented. Prefabricated steel crowns for deciduous teeth have been known since 60 years. The progress in development of filling materials for deciduous teeth not eliminated steel crown from clinical use. Even now this is challenge for pediatric dentists to rebuilt milk teeth with multi surfaces cavities. In these cases reconstruction with filling materials in comparison with use of steel crowns is less successful and unsatisfying in long term. Authors presented reconstruction method of hard tissue of deciduous teeth with using preformed steel crowns and techniques – classic and Hall.
The Hall technique based on minimally invasive dentistry creates new possibilities in dental treatment in case of uncooperative patient, who in other way were qualified to general anesthesia.
There was presented also other kinds of crowns which let for aesthetic reconstruction of milk teeth.
