Summary
Dèjerine-Roussy syndrome is a group of neurological symptoms resulting from damage to the posterior side of the thalamus. The paper describes the case of 63-year-old woman with hemorrhagic stroke in the left hemisphere of the deep structures
of the brain, where the full-symptomatic thalamic syndrome occurred. Despite the good prognosis and resolution of most symptoms, persistent thalamic pain still worse quality of life of the described patient.
