Summary
Since antique times frostbites have become a big danger for the former as well as contemporary forces. Not only soldiers get frostbites.
Even nowadays, when the temperature of enclosing falls to a few degrees above zero, people, who are not prepared for this kind of weather conditions, are exposed for extensive forbites or even death from chill, especially people from (so called) social margin. In the indirect mechanism of tissue damage, evoked by a low temperature, a very important role is played by the encyclical cramp of blood utensils which causes tissue ischaemia and the increase of blood viscosity, acidosis and the emerge of thrombuses.
The article attempts to estimate the influence of the application of Sulodeksyd in associated treatment – limitation area of irreversible tissue damage and prevention from generation of repercussions of late II an III degree frostbites (1, 2).
