Summary
Patients with severe chronic periodontitis requires periodontal treatment planned. Deep bone defects, particularly in the molar furcations should be treated using surgical procedures. Good cooperation with the patient may result in long-lasting remission of the disease and allow the preservation of teeth with extensive lesions and the initial uncertain prognosis. The paper presents clinical and radiological 3 and 8-year evaluation of periodontal therapy two patients. Good treatment results show that it may be an alternative to the increasingly popular implantological treatment.
