Summary
Prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous patients is a difficult process, and the most common problem is failure to obtain satisfactory retention and stabilization of lower dentures. In such cases implant prosthetic method of treatment is helpful. Prosthesis supported by implants has significantly better retention and stabilization when compared to complete lower dentures. Such restorations can be connected with implants using various elements such as bar, spherical attachments, magnets. One of the less frequently used systems is the Locator (Zest Anchors, USA). The article presents the advantages and disadvantages of the system and methods of using based on available publications.
