Summary
The aim of the work was an attempt to assess the reasons intervention emergency medical teams to paediatric patients and further of the case with patients by the medical personnel of ambulance, at the premises of the administrative district of Otwock in 2009. Among emergency medical intervention teams, 322 interventions related to the paediatric patients (160 boys, 162 girls) in age from 0-17 years. The average age was 9.22 years and was higher for girls. During material injuries have been a major cause of emergency medical intervention teams. Most of the paediatric patients (81%) require transport to the hospital in order to further diagnosis and treatment.
