Summary
We report an unusual case of a 62-year – old patient with subfascio-cutaneous fistula, as an late complication of the left buttock blunt trauma six years ago. The diagnostic findings, on trans-rectal USG, computed tomography scan, colonoscopy and fistulography, were negative for fistula in ano or cutaneo-intestinal fistula presence. Patient followed, a successful surgical procedure, without fistula recurrence in 6 months follow up. Information derived from clinical examination and further diagnostic procedures (endoscopic, CT and fistulography) are important in the evaluation and proper surgical management of posttraumatic fistulas individualized according to findings.
