Summary
Mondor’s disease is a rare disease characterized by inflammation of the superficial venous thrombotic. The etiology of this disease is not yet known. Implementation of proper diagnosis and effective pharmacological treatment allows complete recovery of the patient.
There are no case reports in the Polish literature of this disease so the authors decided to present a patient treated because of disease, as well as a review of current literature relating to this disease and its treatment.
