Summary
Reversible pulpitis treatment in deciduous dentition include indirect pulp treatment. Materials used in it mainly possess odontotropic properties, but they can also include GICs, RMGICs and bonding agents.
Aim: The aim of this study was to determine which type of indirect pulp treatment is the most efficient and which materials should be used.
Material and methods: A systematic literature review from the last 10 years was performed. It confronted methods and materials used in randomized or controlled clinical trials.
Results: One-visit IPT is the most efficient method of IPT in clinical and laboratory observations.
Conclusions: Indirect pulp treatment is a successful method of biological pulp treatment in deciduous teeth. ITR should be performed in strictly defined situations.
