Chirurgiczne leczenie kłykcin kończystych odbytu – opis przypadku i przegląd piśmiennictwa

Summary
Anal condylomata acuminata are a disease well known since ancient times occurs in persons who had been having anal intercourse. Condylomata acuminata are result of infection with human papillomavirus (HPV). Although currently there are known over 100 different types of human papillomavirus (HPV), Types 6, 10 and 11 of this virus are the formation of condylomata acuminata in the genital area in 90%. Despite the development of various methods of treatment, surgery remains an effective, inexpensive, effective and safe method of treatment for the patient. The main threat to untreated patients is the development of anal cancer.
In the following article the author present a case of a male patient treated for anal condylomata by surgery as well as review the latest literature referring to this disease and treatment methods.
