Summary
The presented studies show the high activity of bee pollen used for the regeneration of liver tissue intoxicated by carbon tetrachloride, ethionine, galactosamine and allyl alcohol – substances with a very strong damage activity for all possible structures of this organ. Moreover the activity of bee pollen is not limited only to treatment of damaged liver tissue. The extracts of bee pollen have the ability to protection of liver against intoxications.
