Summary
Professional work is one of the most important forms of human activity. Professional work may give a sense of identity and the appropriate status, create opportunities for learning new skills and cope with new challenges. It may confer awards, keep the need for collective membership and provide peace of mind of a sense of acceptance and respect in the band. The work can give rise to friendship and to know people with different interests, constitute a factor to speed up the development of the body, its efficiency, knowledge and personality. Finally, the work can be the source of maintaining themselves and their families in the substantive soundness – social. However, for many people work is also the source of stress. The reason of stress may be many properties work environment. These include overload, the change introduced to the organization, role of conflict and role of confusion.
Issue of the material research is concentrated on physical activity and positive influence on ability with stress’ managing in everyday life and professional occupation among selected social group.
In theoretical part there are included reflections concerning lack of physical activity and its influence on human life. Moreover, there are presented main stress’ sources in different occupations, consequences of stress in workplace and methods of managing and prevention against stress in workplace.
In empirical part, there is analyzed conclusions of research concerning lack of physical activity and stress’ influence on employees of Orlen Company.
