Summary
Introduction: Tourist activity of the disabled people is a current issue which starts to be analyzed by many specialists in this area. More and more often, works are undertaken on programs of anti-discrimination nature and on providing the disabled with legal basis supporting them. The purpose of those works is to facilitate access to various places and forms of social life, including tourism, for the disabled people, which, until now, have been inaccessible for them. By observation of the tourist market, one can notice that the tourism organizers do not have the particularly wide range of services to offer to people with disabilities.
Aim: The goal of this thesis is to introduce the problems of basis concepts related to people with disabilities a d their tourist activity. The basic terms connected with disability were discussed here and it contains the goals and motives which cause people with disabilities to undertake physical activity.
Material and methods: The research material were children and youth with disabilities. Surveyed 180 people were attending integrated schools in the Podkarpacie.
Results and conclusion: The conclusions show that the lack of tourism and tourism is skilled in making a significant barrier to tourism activity by persons with disabilities.
