Summary
Bone defects of different sizes are a frequent problem in dental practice. Porous titanium granules, among other materials, are used to restore such defects. In the case presented, they were used to fill a cavity formed due to cyst enucleation. Aim of this paper is to radiologically assess bone healing after application of white porous titanium granules in the cavity. A patient was diagnosed with a radicular cyst in the area of teeth 45-47. The lesion was fully enucleated and the cavity was filled with Natix White. Healing was uneventful. Complete restoration of bone tissue was established radiologically at 16 months post-operatively. The case presented indicates numeral advantages resulting from use of white porous titanium granules.
