Summary
The hemorrhoidal disease is currently regarded as a serious social. It is estimated that the trouble related to hemorrhoidal disease occurs in 25 to 35% pregnancies, 85% of which appear in the final three months of pregnancy.
The treatment of the hemorrhoidal disease during pregnancy should consist in non-invasive medical procedures. If a monthly non-invasive treatment does not bring about a positive effect, it is possible to apply a more invasive form of treatment in such cases.
In the following article the author presents a case of a pregnant woman treated for the hemorrhoidal disease and gives a review the latest literature related to this medical problem.
