Summary
Authors present the case of 14-year-old girl with a history of multiple episodes of syncope in the past 2 years. Incidents have been occurring after long time of standing in sultry crowded spaces or in stressful situations. The clinical course was typical for reflex syncope with prodromal symptoms followed by loss of consciousness. Due to high frequency of episodes, the patient had been qualified for tilt-test which was performed after excluding cardiac, neurological, metabolic and toxic causes of syncopes. The diagnosis of mixed type of vasovagal syncope was established. The patient was informed about measures and interventions for prevention of further reflex syncopes.
