Summary
Immunossuppresion after solid organ transplantation predispose to local and general infections. Inflammatory lesions in oral cavity are observed in children after transplantation and often concern to periodontioum.
Aim of study was description kinds of gingivitis in developmental age patients who were graft recipients – liver or kidney, on basis of gum diseases classification of American Academy of Periodontology.
Presented clinical manifestation and risk factors predisposed to gingivitis connected with dental plaque increased by general health status, gum diseases connected with oral infections (virus and fungal) and ulcero-necrosis gingivitis. Underline importance of prevention and early treatment of gum diseases in subject under immunosuppresion and necessity keeping in good oral hygiene.
