Streszczenie
Udar mózgu jest obecnie jednym z najpoważniejszych schorzeń neurologicznych i jest uznawany jako stan bezpośredniego zagrożenia życia. Postęp w metodach i sposobach prowadzenia diagnostyki i leczenia doprowadził do poprawy rokowania i zmniejszenia inwalidztwa poudarowego.
Są różne rodzaje stanów padaczkowych, a głównym celem postępowania terapeutycznego jest zapobieganie uszkodzeniu mózgu wynikającego z tego stanu.

Summary
Brain stroke is currently one of the most serious neurological diseases, considered being a direct life-threatening condition. Progress in the methods and measures of diagnostics and therapy led to the improvement of prognosis and decrease of the post-stroke disability. There are various types of status epilepticus and the main purpose of the treatment is to prevent the cerebral damage, which results from this status.
