Summary
This work includes the results of 20-years observation on efficacy of healing of mastitis in period of lactation and involution carried out with antibiotics and self-prepared propolis gel. The studies showed that the propolis therapy is more effective as well in clinical forms of mastitis in the period of lactation as in the time of involution by cows than the at present used antibiotics therapy. It was proposed the new method of mastitis therapy consisting on introduction of propolis gel into all lobes of mammary gland and then on the base of microbiological tests of secretion the application of guided antibiotic only into infected parts of mammary gland.
