Przegląd sposobów leczenia propolisem chorób ginekologiczno-położniczych i proktologicznych

Summary
The treatment of obstetrical-gynecological and proctological diseases with propolis preparations (extracts, ointments, liniments, suppositories and vaginal suppositories) during recent 50 years was reviewed. The review includes the hospital and ambulatory studies published in Poland and other countries.The main part of diseases were the inflammatory states, ulcerations and cervix erosions also states after electrocoagulation and krioconization of this organ. In the case of proctological diseases the propolis preparations have been used for treatment of haemorrhoids and anal fissures. The results of treatment of above mentioned diseases show, that propolis helped to completely cure or significant improve 80% of gynecological and proctological cases difficult to heal with traditional remedies.
