Summary
Propolis and honey belong to the most efficacious bee products used for the treatment of internal and external infections. Propolis and honey are successfully applicated as the alternative remedies in therapy of skin diseases, after surgery intervention and after otorhinolaryngological, stomatological, ophtalmological, proctological operations also in gynecology and obstetrics. Positive results have been noted after oral application of propolis and honey in therapy of diseases of respiratory system and gastrointestinal system. The presented data show, that use of propolis and honey in treatment of infections is well-founded in medical practice.
