Summary
The content of fat and fatty acids in market food products were determined including oils, margarines, butter, mixed fats and mayonnaises. Particular emphasis was put on unfavorable from nutritional point of view content of trans isomers unsaturated fatty acids. The main source of trans isomers are margarines and mixed fats (margarine/butter), other products are responsible in small and were at all. Considerable variability on the food market demand actual data base, from the point of view ofnutritional value in daily intake.
