Ocena właściwości uspokajających wybranych wyciągów roślinnych

Summary
Among the obtained dry extracts of Passiflora incarnata L., Lavandula angustifolia Mill. and Hypericum perforatum L. the extract of Hyperici herba had the highest content of studied compounds (flavonoids and hydroxycinnamic derivatives). Sedative properties of the above dry extracts were investigated using the following pharmacological tests: spontaneous activity, physical endurance and influence on the thiopental sleep. Passiflorae extract had the strongest whereas Hyperici extract had the weakest sedative activity.
