Znaczenie prewencyjne związków polifenolowych zawartych w winogronach

Summary
The polyphenolic compounds called often bioflawonoids are the main group of natural substances contained in grapevine (Vitis vinifera). They have the impertent role in functional food. The natural extract from the seeds of red grapevine with high contents of biologically active flavonoids (OPC – oligomeric procyanidins) is the source of natural antioxidants.
The results of experiments confirm the preventive activity of procyanidins from grape against risk of hearth insuffciency. Independently the protective effect of procyanidins from Vitis vinifera on vitamins E and C has been found.
