Summary
The Purple Butterbur (Petaasites officinalis) can be used in the treatment of patients with bronchial asthma and/or morbus obturativus chronicus pulmonum. The obtained results suggest the possibility of the reduction of cortico-steroids dosage in the therapy of chronic inflammatory pneumopathy by the use of preparats from the Purple Butterbur.
