Summary
The efficacy of the herbal extract Amol in the treatment of rhinitis and pharyngitis was examined at the ambulatory of the Clinic of Otolaryngology of the Medical Academy in Warsaw. The analysis of collected subjective and objective data and comparative cytological studies revealed an improvement of the appearance of the mucous membrane of the nose and throat and decrease of inflammatory changes in the cells and reduction of the amount of neutrophils in the group of patients treated with Amol in comparison to placebo group.
