Streszczenie
20 children with chronic hepatitis B after the first, non effective treatment with recombinant interferon alfa received second therapy with modified scheme; that is 6 MU, 3 times a week for 24 weeks. The seroconversion HBeAg/HBeAb was obtained in 12 patients (60%) only one had negative HBV-DNA in serum, none had HBs seroconversion. Second modified interferon retherapy in children with chronic hepatitis B seems to be more effective but stall the observation is limited.
