Opsoklonie i mioklonie u dzieci – opis przypadku wraz z uwagami na temat hipotezy patofizjologii opsoklonii i mioklonii z pnia mózgu

Streszczenie
The authors described and registered ocular-graphic opsoclonus at 8-year old girl. The dipherential diagnosis of the disease was related with various forms of leucodystrophy, Kinsbourne myoclonic encephalopathy and ataxia teleangiectasia (Louis-Bar disease). Metabolic disturbances of CNS occur in these diseases and paraneoplasmatic and immunological ones, and amongst various clinical symptoms opsoclonus and myoclonus may be observed.
Taking adventage of differential analysis of the above-mentioned case and information received from literature, the authors have put forward their remarks on opsoclonus and myoclonus physiology from the brainstem, reminding the long ago recognized role of the Mollaret triangle and probably accompanying cell hypertrophy of oliva inferior in case of extensive or disseminated changes of the white matter of the brain.
