Streszczenie
The paper presents psychosocial aspects of orofacial clefts. The frequency of such psychological problems as lo self-esteem, social withdrawal, avoiding of peer relations in children with clefts is striking. They are frequently associated with learning disabilities, delays in starting school and grade repetition. The functional habitation of CLP children should be provided both on medical and psychological plan.
