Streszczenie
The management and diagnosis of infants and children with fever without source (FWS) is a difficult challenge for paediatricians. To obtain a better insight into FWS in Poland, author performed a retrospective study on 57 patients fulfilling FWS criteria. This study confirms previous data about aetiology of FWS. The author suggests that guidelines for the management of infants and children with fever without source depends on age and clinical and laboratory data.
