Streszczenie
Nonallergic rhinitis is relatively common disease. It is a condition that is characterized by symptoms which are similar to those seen in allergic rhinitis. The term „nonallergic rhinitis” is commonly applied to a diagnosis of any nasal condition, in which symptoms are similar to those seen in allergic rhinitis but an allergic aetiology has been excluded. This group includes several subgroups: non-allergic rhinitis with eosinophilia syndrome (NARES), idiopathic rhinitis, irritative-toxic (occupational) rhinitis, hormonal rhinitis, drug-induced rhinitis, and other forms (rhinitis due to physical and chemical factors, food-induced rhinitis, emotion-induced rhinitis, atrophic rhinitis). Nonallergic rhinitis coexists often with allergic rhinitis. Treatment of nonallergic rhinitis depends first of all on clinical symptoms and a kind of rhinitis.
