Streszczenie
Causes and mechanisms of feeding disorders are presented. Appetite control is described in detail including the role of neuropeptides, especially leptin. The role of adipose tissue in appetite control is emphasized. Differentiation of feeding disorders and the mother-child relationship is characterized. Stress has been put on the need for complex diagnostic and theurapeutic approach in feeding disorders.
