Streszczenie
There is a need to insure the safety of drinking waters, especially of those recommended for young children. The aim of our preliminary study was to determine the content of chemical contaminants in bottled still waters. Arsenic, barium, nickel levels were determined with inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). In 2003, there were found levels of barium, arsenic and nickel above the Polish limits for mineral drinking waters in 6 of 15 (40%) samples.
